Let's not forget oscillation. As far as I can tell there cannot be vibration without oscillation, a different motion altogether. Many people have misinterpreted Keely's work as being all vibration and that is one of the reasons they have not succeeded in duplicating his feats. For instance Keely accomplished his great pressures from liberated water using oscillation and not vibration as we can see in this quote from the Snell Manuscript: "The [etheric] vapor from the liberator registers 20,000 lbs. per square inch when the rotary atomic oscillation is 1333 1/3 times the normal diameter of the atmospheric molecule." I pointed out some of the fundamental differences between vibration and oscillation in my paper "What Vibration Is." There is more understanding yet to uncover. This is to say we would make little progress in replicating Keely's work unless we clearly understand their differences and more importantly their commonalities. These two distinctly different motions are locked together where a variation in one causes a sympathetic variation in the other. Given these facts what does frequency have to do with anything? Frequency of which periodic motion? Is the frequency a vibration or oscillation? Of what medium? How is the frequency created and maintained? Any study of periodic count (usually referred to as vibration rate) is literally MEANINGLESS unless a broader perspective is brought to bear on ALL the concurrent syncothetical motions. |
