Unfounded Concept On June 1st, 2008 dalesvp says: posted to www.dailpaul.com I would like to interject some history concerning the concept: "As long as the movement remains non-violent we will win." Not necessarily true. In the early 1990s there was a good movement going. It was called many things but the most descriptive was the "10th Amendment Movement" - the return of states rights and power. The movement had supporters all over the country and the local groups were growing by leaps and bounds. People like Gingrich decided to shut it all down. So they executed the OKC bombing and blamed it on the so-called militias which didn't really exist. This effectively shut down the 10th Amendment Movement and all those patriots either went back to what they were doing (mostly nothing) or they went underground. That movement was terminated and they were engaged in zero violence. (Isn't this the same tactic used on 911? If we don't learn from history we will repeat it.) http://www.youtube.com/wa... The current Ron Paul movement is a resurrection of those old sentiments; i.e., freedom from tyranny in all its forms. But in new ways and with new people. Now I am not recommending violence. We were shown by the founding Fathers through their Declaration of Independence that violence is only justified when all other avenues have been thoroughly exhausted. Since the OKC fraud/scam the freedom movement has been non-violent and that has been and is a positive attribute to be builded upon. Peace can win but never ever underestimate the nastiness of the insane NWO and its psychotic minions. Long live the R3voution! |
