Try as I might over the years I have not been able to move the general conversations onto more "solid" ground and keep them there. There is a certain spiritual or Mind/Consciousness aspect to SVP that is as much or more relevant than so-called physical science. So inevitably we wander into those types of topics. What I think we are seeing is people's individual efforts to better understand this Mind or Consciousness side of the equation. Each will understand and express themselves according to their backgrounds, culture and ability to think. What I suggest/advise is our forum is like a pot luck dinner. Usually what one expects or wants from the dinner one must bring. Otherwise we eat what someone else brings - if we eat at all. So what is really lacking is for the science and clear minded people to post more and more often. These ones tend to hold back. What I've done in the past is use some of the more common topics as ILLUSTRATIONS of the Mind/Consciousness side of SVP universal principles. This has worked in many ways. But takes time and care both of which I'm short of these days. In brief, the topics that get posted are the ones that get discussed and when discussed get more responses of like kind. Healing is one area we each get personal verification of Mind principles at work. Politics illustrates our group Mind principles at work (or not!). We can learn from each topic (or not!). The Mind side of the equation appears the most difficult to grasp for most people. I think this is because we've been so inculcated with bogus religious ideas, bogus science, cultural malease and apathy, and simply lack of any kind of down to earth common sense and education along these lines. People in general have had their minds filled with so much bogus information that has formed into their belief systems which is difficult to let go of or replace. We see this in science, engineering, religion, politics and ordinary life. SVP requires clear and courageous free thinking. Just what some people are unable or unwilling to do. Most simply do not know how. We are all learning what we each need and are able to grow with. Keely harnessed Mind Force in his machines. John Keely, 1888 The general trend of the SVPforum has been to understand this Mind/Consciousness FORCE. What it is and how to use it either in one's personal life or in machinery. We know most of the physical aspects on machining and casting metals. But, it turns out, we do not know much about this Mind Force which we each tap and use in our personal lives every day. Mind encompasses all the foibles and attributes which make us human. So naturally we wander into all sorts of seeming off-topics. The topics may not be on/off topic all the time but sometimes personal focus and insight can be. On the other hand sometimes engineering people will join our forum expecting to see hard-core science, objective reality only type discussions. This is an impossibility with SVP as anyone who has read the old Keely stories can attest. There was something in his body, heart or mind that allowed only Keely to operate his machines. What is this something? It was his Mind or Consciousness built into and tuned to/with his machines. We've seen this verified many times with our many experiences with Atlin. The question then becomes how do we stay focused on Mind and Consciousness without wandering too far afield? I don't know. We do the best we can. At times some of the hard science comes in but to date I've never found anyone interested enough to respond to those postings and stick to the focus required to expand them. Science requires focused thought and expressioning. Few are able and willing to be that focused over lengthy periods of time. Perhaps that is why there are so few true scientists. Dale |
