posted to SVP Forum A few days ago I posted a link to a video of Sky Shields of the Larouche science study group. In it he talks about a comprehensive or whole perspective of science as opposed to the standard reductionist view. SVP is like that - it is a whole view wherein all parts are intimately linked to all other parts and those links are substantial. Our modern culture has been trained to take a slice of nature and view it as being whole but not connected to all else. Hence they can take a slice of society (single out and label any group) then mistreat that label because it appears not to be connected to the whole and therefor can be abused and discarded. This aberrant view of our lives is at the root of our societal and most individual ills. We are separate individuals yet we are part of the whole of humanity. The difficulties of society and of one's life are repeated time and again until one becomes aware they are part of a Greater Whole. It is the misbelief in separation that causes difficulties, dis-ease and tribulations. "That that one meets must be met again. That [which] one applies will be applied again and again until that oneness, time, space, force, or the own individual is one with the Whole." Cayce (4341-1) Individuals and groups of individuals are trained to view life as divisions where some are "good" and some are "bad". The bad ones are to be weeded out they are mistaught. So this is the war we see. Insofar as beliefs go we see countless belief systems (religions, political parties, etc.) where very few make an honest attempt at living as though we all belong on this planet. One is brought to ask "Who's dream is more real?" So along comes SVP with its message of unity in all things and that is a strange concept for those trained to divide and conquer. It is scary to love where one feels threatened. But that is what is being called out. When we come to realize we are all One the threat disappears and harmony reigns. When our religions teach individuals to see themselves as better or some how special than all others there is the illusion of separation and in comes judgement of "good" and "evil" rendering a whole society into groups at war with each other - and all because of a misbelief. SVP is about healing all that. "Where does the healing of the world take place? When your mind again is seen as whole. The instant you look into a brother's eyes and see your Self reflected there. When your whole mind is known by you to mean every mind, all minds merged as One, the world will instantly change. It will be healed because you see it to be so. You will have changed the cause by healing the thought of being separate from the Mind of God. The effect of then seeing only the world of God's Perfection is instantaneous. With the misperceived thought now gone, cause and effect have become the same." [Dialogue on Awakening, page 4.] |
