>Can God be bound to an earthly contract? To contract with another implies separation (among other things). In a world belief supporting separation we could see "offers" like so: God offering to Man: "I will give you everything. You give me Love." Man bargaining with God: "You give me what I want and I'll make x, y or z sacrifice(s) to you." In a world belief of unity we might see something like this: God to Man: "You already have and have always had everything I have to give. I have nothing more to give you." Man to God: "Wow! Thanks Dad!" |
