War is insane. Those who support and encourage war are insane. Obama supports war.... Awakening is about recovering our sanity. Directly Dr. Paul is causing an awakening around the globe. Obama, through further chaos and suffering, will eventually bring about other awakenings. Thus showing there is a silver lining in all dark clouds. I didn't join this list to discuss the insanity of American politics but to extend our awareness into more sanity. Political discussions can eventually lead to sanity by way of contrasting the insanity of it. My emphasis is much like that of meera: the power to change one's life is within each so that is where I'd like to focus.Ê So far as criticizing politicians I would add (along with Quimby) the other two most evil people on the planet are doctors and religious leaders (preachers, priests, rabbis, etc.). All of these ones plant ideas in our minds which ideas cause us to behave, consciously and unconsciously, in ways not entirely to our own benefit. In a word, through fraud, deceit, deception and trickery we are misled down some mindless paths (insanity). We could say that through the promotion of varying degrees of insanity THEY get and maintain control while through varying degrees of sanity we get free. Thus the same old conflict that has been raging for centuries continues. |
